Rules/Guidelines



General
1. All convention rules must be followed.
2. For your safety, everyone is required to remain on convention property for the entire convention period. No exceptions will be allowed without prior permission from the attending priest.

Housing
1. Please respect the rooming assignments and only sleep in your designated room.
2. All occupants will be held financially responsible for any damages to the room occupied.
3. Please respect the peace and privacy of other occupants at the convention.
4. Everyone is required to be in his/her assigned room by 12:00 am.
5. Please note that no males or females will be allowed to visit each other’s floors. This applies to everyone, including brothers/sisters.

Attire
1. Modest attire is required at all times.
2. Shorts are not allowed during liturgy and lectures.
(Short shorts, mini-skirts, sleeveless or low cut tops, tight or transparent clothes, etc… are not allowed at anytime)

Attendance
1. The retreat conference facility will be the meeting place for all lectures, liturgies, prayers, etc.
2. Attendance at all scheduled events - prayers, liturgies, lectures and events - is expected of everyone.
3. Cellular phones must be turned off during all scheduled activities.
4. Attendees MAY NOT bring outsiders to the convention who are not registered in the convention.
5. No pets allowed.

Behavior
1. Christian behavior is expected from each attendee.
2. Inappropriate language is unacceptable.
3. Smoking, alcoholic beverages and drugs are strictly prohibited.

Meals
1. Only appropriate fasting foods will be served since this will be during St. Mary’s Fast.
2. All buffet meals will be catered by the facility. Snacks will be also provided.
3. If you wish to bring extra snacks to share please bring appropriate fasting snacks.

Adhering to the above rules will guarantee an enjoyable time spent filled with spiritual benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: Any disorderly conduct that limits the other participants’ right to enjoy the retreat will be dealt with immediately including dismissal from the convention.
